Blood Help exists only to help save lives
This platform was created solely to connect voluntary donors with people in serious medical conditions who need blood support. We facilitate humanitarian coordination — we are not a blood bank, broker, or marketplace.
Buying, selling, trading, or offering payment for blood or blood products is strictly prohibited on Blood Help in any form. Violations may result in immediate account removal and reporting to authorities where applicable.
Our purpose
Blood Help (https://bloodhelp.org) is a humanitarian technology platform built only to help people in serious medical situations find voluntary blood support and to help willing donors respond when lives are at risk. We do not operate as a hospital, blood bank, laboratory, or commercial supplier of blood or blood products.
What we do
- Connect patients, families, hospitals, and verified organisations with potential voluntary donors.
- Publish urgent blood requests and notifications in good faith to speed up community response.
- Recognise donors and societies for voluntary, life-saving contributions (points, badges, leaderboards).
What we never do
- We do not buy, sell, trade, auction, or broker blood — for money, gifts, favours, or any other consideration.
- We do not facilitate illegal or unethical blood commerce anywhere on the site or app.
- We do not guarantee availability of donors, blood units, or medical outcomes.
Voluntary donation only
All use of Blood Help must reflect voluntary, altruistic blood donation as recognised by reputable health authorities. Requests and offers that imply payment, rewards beyond standard donor care at licensed facilities, or coercion are forbidden and will be removed.
Who may use the platform
- Individual donors — adults who wish to register availability and respond to legitimate requests.
- Patients and families — posting needs during medical emergencies with accurate information.
- Hospitals, thalassemia centres, NGOs, and blood societies — verified organisations coordinating community support.
Your responsibility
Blood collection, screening, storage, and transfusion must always occur through licensed medical facilities and qualified staff. Blood Help only helps people find each other; it does not replace professional healthcare, emergency services, or national blood programmes.
By using Blood Help, you acknowledge this mission and agree to our Terms of Service, Prohibited Conduct, and Community Guidelines.
